Chaperone Policy

Blackpool Medical Centre is committed to providing Best Practice at all times in a safe and relaxed environment. You may be offered a chaperone for consultation or examination from time to time and if not offered one, may ask the receptionist/doctor/nurse to provide one. A family member or friend may also accompany you during any visit if it is your wish.

We are constantly trying to improve the patient centred care and quality of service that we offer at Blackpool Medical Centre. We always welcome feedback from our patients and any feedback, both positive or negative, will be taken on board and acted upon to improve the experience for all. In the event of a more serious complaint, we would appreciate if you could kindly advise the doctor/nurse/receptionist of your complaint.

A copy of our complaints policy is available at reception. Please note that confidentiality and impartiality will be assured as we try to resolve any matters to your satisfaction.

Blackpool Medical Centre is listed with VHI, LAYA and Irish Life Health for the provision of medical care.
